William E. Anspach, III, MD, FAAOS

William E. Anspach, III, MD is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon and Partner of South Florida Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. Dr. Anspach earned his Medical Degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, graduating third in his class. He completed his Orthopedic Surgical Residency and Surgical Internship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Anspach received several prestigious honors while completing his training, including the Resident of the Year in Orthopedic Surgery, Hewlett Packard Award for Academic Achievement, Best Resident Teacher in Musculoskeletal Course, and membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Anspach has practiced general orthopaedics for over 16 years. He is a Former Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He has conducted hip research, and his results are published in several peer-reviewed medical journals. He holds patents pertaining to the fields of joint replacement and rotator cuff repair. Dr. Anspach is a national presenter on hip surgery.
Dr. Anspach is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
