Licensed and Certified Physician Assistant

Paul Avidon, PA-C is a Licensed and Certified Physician Assistant.  Paul graduated from Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York with a Bachelor of Science degree with Physician Assistant Certificate in 1981.  He also earned an Associate of Arts from Columbia College Extended Studies Division, Naval Training Center in Orlando, Florida.  Paul has almost 30 years of experience as a Physician Assistant, with a focus in orthopaedic surgery, including spine and neck care.

Paul is licensed by the State of Florida and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Kevin Barnewold, PA-C
Licensed and Certified Physician Assistant

Kevin Barnewold, PA-C is a Licensed and Certified Physician Assistant. Kevin graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a Bachelor of Science degree, and Physician Assistant Certificate. He also earned a Bachelors of Business Administration from Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. Kevin has over 10 years of experience in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine, including pre- and post- operative care. 

Kevin is licensed by the State of Florida and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, with special recognition in surgery. Kevin is a member of Alpha ETA National Honor Society. He is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Tara A. Cobb, PA-C
Licensed and Certified Physician Assistant

Tara A. Cobb, PA-C is a Licensed and Certified Physician Assistant. Tara graduated with honors from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. Tara has over 10 years of experience and training in a variety of clinical areas with a special emphasis in surgery.   

Tara is licensed by the State of Florida and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Tara is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society.

Nurse Practitioner

Kimberly Buka, RN, BSN, MSN, ARNP
Licensed Nurse Practitioner

Kim graduated from Georgia College and State University, Milledgeville, Georgia where she earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Nursing. She has 24 years of clinical experience in a variety of health care settings, including hospital-based medical/surgical, geriatric, cardiac/telemetry, intensive care and emergency care units.

Kim is a Certified Nurse Practitioner, a licensed Registered Nurse and has accreditation in Advanced Cardiac Life Support/Basic Life Support. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the National League of Nursing and the American Nurses Association.
