Cynthia J. Gustafson, MD is Board Certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine and is a Fellow in the American College of Rheumatology. She earned her B.A. from the University of Chicago and her Medical Degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL. She completed her Internal Medicine Internship, Internal Medicine Residency, and Rheumatology Fellowship at Northwestern University’s in Chicago campus as well. She was honored with the Amoco Rheumatology Fellowship from the Illinois Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation. Her research has been published in peer-review medical journals.
Dr. Gustafson has practiced medicine since 1985. She is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Mid-East region of the Florida Arthritis Foundation and was instrumental in founding the Arthritis Foundation for the medically indigent, where she has volunteered for over 13 years. She was honored for this with the Service Recognition Award from the Arthritis Foundation.
